DUPUYTREN'S CONTRACTURE (flexion contracture of the hand)
Finger contracture due to fibrosis aponeurosis of the hand. Surgical treatment involves removing the tissue causing the contracture. Depending on the extent of the changes, the intervention may relate to one or more of the radius of the hand (the radius of the hand is the tissue located on the palm along the fingers).
For each procedure the following tests are required
• Blood test
• Morphology
• OB
• coagulation blood tests
• Electrolytes
In some cases additional tests are needed:
• ECG
• Chest X-ray
• Advanced laboratory testing
Patient should remain six hours of fasting (no eating or drinking) before the surgery.
For the diagnosis and surgical treatment method selection there may be the following tests required: chest x-ray, ultrasound, MRI (magnetic resonance) of the patients organs.
We require a dentist opinion about the health of our patient’s teeth for each orthopedic procedure.
