HIALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic acid is a compound that occurs in all living organisms. In the human skin it is a component of intercellular matrix of the dermis and is responsible for water binding. It may therefore be safely used without having to perform additional skin tests. With age acid content in the skin decreases, which causes wrinkles as an effect of lower amount of water bound in the epidermis. By injecting the skin with hyaluronic acid the elasticity and firmness recovers, wrinkles disappear and, consequently, the face looks younger. Usually this procedure is performed in order to fill the labio-nasal folds, correct the dropping mouth corners and remove cheek wrinkles.

After the treatment the skin is firm and elastic, and the face looks young, natural and fresh. The effects last approximately 12 months.
